Join us for the Spring Warbler Count as they make their way north.

You can begin at 6:30 AM or 9:00 AM depending on your schedule. The count will begin at 6:30AM, have a break with light snacks from 8:30-9AM, and then continuing as long as you would like to stay. Experts will be present to help with bird identification if you are still developing your skills. Please bring binoculars and field guide for your own use.

The event will hosted from the Shelter house across the road from the River Campground (1313 Fig Ave, Coon Rapids, IA 50058) where parking, restrooms, and water are available.

If you plan on attending please contact Rob Davis (712-684-2697 ext. 114 or landmanager@whiterock conservancy.org) so that we can estimate attendance in order to estimate how much of the grounds we can cover. To facilitate the early start we are offering half-priced camping on Friday May 6th for participants in the warbler count.
