May 18 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm| Free
Come add Warblers to your life lists – or learn more about identifying these birds! Experts will lead walks on trails at Whiterock Conservancy on May 18. We will plan a morning walk at 9:00 and a late morning walk at 11:00. A presentation about Whiterock will be offered at 11 am between the walks. Groups will meet at the picnic shelter at the River House and Barn (parking is across the street at 1314 Fig Ave.) Bring a bag lunch. Thanks to the Raccoon River Watershed Association, Iowa Audubon, Sierra Club and the Iowa Ornithology Society for helping make this event happen. Accommodations at Whiterock are still available (camping or indoors) if you want to plan a weekend of it.
