Trails are open. Please help us keep trails safe and don't create ruts that will freeze and be dangerous. Dippers and Shooting star are cleared of trees as of 12/19. There are trees reported on Long Creek and Riverside. Please report additional trees. Shower houses are closed for the season.

Whiterock Conservancy, offers an unique and picturesque setting for your business retreat, baby shower, family reunion, business meeting, class reunion or other special event. Watch bald eagles soar from the windows of the Bur Oak Visitor’s Center during your business retreat, or kick back in the shade with friends and family at the Oakridge House. With so many things to do at Whiterock, you and your guests can find new adventures everyday. Host your event with us and you can be sure that you will leave feeling rejuvenated from your stay.

Bur Oak Visitor’s Center

Surrounded by windows overlooking a newly planted prairie and river this event space is the perfect fit for a small reception, baby shower, graduation party or a business meeting.

Rental includes:

  • Heated and air-conditioned rental space
  • 32‘ by 36 ‘ (85-100 approximate occupancy)
  • 14 – 6 foot tables and 80 chairs
  • Outdoor patio with 8 picnic tables
  • Use of the kitchenette including refrigerator and microwave
  • Wood burning fireplace and firewood

Daily rental – $75 plus tax
All rentals require a $100 refundable damage deposit.
Staff assistance and cleaning can be arranged for an additional fee.

Oakridge House

With a private shaded yard, the Oakridge Farm House makes an ideal home base for reunions or retreats. The kitchen is equipped to handle up to 30 people. Oakridge offers full amenities, including A/C, TV/VCR, basketball, croquet set, dart board, horseshoes and all linens. The facility is equipped with a fire ring and firewood and is near hiking, biking and equestrian trails and fishing ponds. A nearby garage provides shelter if it is raining. The Oakridge House officially sleeps 13 people (5 bedrooms, 3 queens, 7 twins) though a few extra children can be tucked into the house.
