River House and Dance Barn
Situated along the banks of the Middle Raccoon River in the heart of the Whiterock Valley, the River House Dance Barn, prairies, and gardens provide breath-taking scenery and serve as a gorgeous backdrop for your special event.
The River house Barn was originally constructed in 1899, but converted to a dance barn during Prohibition. It has been said that there has never been a “bad party” here. And judging by the stunning location, that isn’t hard to believe!
Oakridge Farm House
With a private shaded yard, the Oakridge Farm House makes an ideal home base for reunions or retreats. The kitchen is equipped to handle up to 30 people. A nearby garage provides shelter if it is raining. Oak Ridge offers full amenities, including A/C, TV/VCR, antennae TV, basketball, croquet set, dart board, horseshoes and all linens. The facility is equipped with a fire ring and firewood and is near hiking trails and fishing ponds. A nearby garage provides shelter if it is raining.
The Oakridge House officially sleeps 13 people (5 bedrooms, 3 queens, 7 twins) though a few extra children can be tucked into the house.
