A remote cabin nestled in the woods between a spring fed pond and the Middle Raccoon River, our 805 River Cabin is the perfect destination for those wanting a primitive camping experience. This site is designed as a strictly hike-in, bike-in, or horseback ride-in site from our River Campground.

This remote cabin was moved into the valley from 805 Main Street in Coon Rapids, many years ago.  It’s a rustic retreat sitting in a secluded valley filled with lush greenery and wildlife.  Deer, wild turkey, coyotes, beaver and songbirds fill the surrounding woods.  This one room cabin has six twin sleeping platforms with foam mattresses.  Bring your own bedding. NO water and NO electricity.   

 

Sleeps: 6 with additional tent camping allowed for additional fee

Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 10am

 

Directions: Hike/Bike Route, Equestrian Route. 

 

Amenities:

• 6 twin sleeping platforms with pads – MUST bring own sleeping bags

• Large yard for additional tent camping. $15 per tent per night.

• Sun warmed water gravity fed shower and outhouse.

• Fire pit, picnic table, charcoal grill

• Firewood available for $10 – NO outside firewood is allowed.

• Pets are welcome

• PARKING: River Campground

• No electricity, no running water. Please plan accordingly.

• No personal ATVs or UTVs
